Twisted Sisters Art Show

July and August 2010

Stephanie And three fantasitc  artist friends put on a show of all shows this summer at the Mary Nichols Art Center.

 Michele Brower, Mellissa Slepekis, and Bonnie McConnell  have become true family after the  bonds made creating this show. The other artists  are not mosaicists, they are photographers, and they have influenced Stephaine's   works  to a great extent. She now takes her own photographs and burns the images into  glass  and incorperates them into her works, from  jewelry to mosaic.  they also  created  an impressive community collaboration of  personal shrines, altered books and  fun asemblages  that were  incredible therapy for all.

The walls were filled with incredible art, and the reception was  something the gallery has never seen before! Many said  this was not typical of a small town gallery but should be seen in cities like New York!
